Is it not possible to get more immediate help than setting up a phone call for 3 days from now at 1130 at night?   It seems like autodesk should have more immediate help than this for professional software such as autocad.

They do have something better.  How did you purchase your product - via online store?  If so, get your contract transferred to a local reseller.  They should be your first port of call for immediate support, especially with activation, licensing, and contract questions, as they'll be in your time zone and likely even in the same city.  They won't always have direct support for some of the more sophisticated programs like Inventor or 3DSMAX if they aren't in heavy use in your area, but they can ensure your questions get sent to the right people at Autodesk.
