A licensing error occurred opening this product. How can I fix this? If the problem continues, contact support.

I am using AutoCAD LT 2026.
Lately I've been plagued by the following error when I click on the icon to restart my working session for the next day: "A licensing error occurred opening this product. How can I fix this? If the problem continues, contact support". I did click on "How can I fix this" and found it to be useless.
I read somewhere in Autodesk that single users are not provided with licenses. I never received an email with any contract information when the product was installed, or after.
Yesterday upon clicking on my icon I got a message saying that I was logged into Autodesk and I could work. I am logged in today and I am getting the message described above.
I am not a computer tech so please don't give me a link to something I won't understand. Please try to explain to me like I am a 4th grader, just why this is happening and how to stop it from happening again.
