3Ds Max 2015 failed to install

I have been trying to install the student version of 3ds max my computer is running Window 8.1, 64-bit operating system, x 64 based-processor  4GB RAM, Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU N2840 @2.16GHz  2.16GHz. This is my last resort, I have no idea where to go from here. Can anyone PLEASE help me? I attached my log file at the bottom.

Please install the Medium Material Library here... http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-to-... For the version of 3DS Max your installing.

If that doesn't work, download the software from the Autodesk Virtual Agent here... http://autodesk.creativevirtual15.com/autodesk/bot.html?isJSEnabled=1&businessArea=Root.Front%20Desk...

Thank you again for replying to my message Duncan, I have downloaded Autodesk Medium Resolution Materials Image Library 2015 but I do not know how to install it into my computer. I'm kind of confused by the instructions on the website on how to install, is there any way you could give me a a step by step process on how to install Autodesk Medium Resolution Materials Image Library 2015 after i downloaded the file from the link you sent me? thank you again for your help, I extremely appreciate it!

Please download the *.zip file for the material library version you need and extract to C:\Autodesk\

 

Once extracted, run the installer via the MediumImageLibrary****.msi

 

**** = the version of the library

 

That should be all you have to do. Let me know if it works or not and please dont forget to provide Kudos and Mark this as an Accepted solution if you are able to install 3DS Max 2015 after.

I downloaded the zip. file and extracted to C:\Autodesk\ but when I right click "MediumImageLibrary2015" then click install a message pops up that reads: "Texture libraries cannot be installed before the material library. Please run the installer, "MaterialLibrary2015.msi", then try to install the texture libraries again." 

I don't know where to find "MatrerialLibrary2015.msi". how do I run that installer? Is there any way I could instant message you as I am going through this process because I feel like the solution is alot more simple than I am making it, it's just I have never done this before. Thank you again for continuing to help me.

When you downloaded 3DS Max 2015, did you download via the Install Now, Download Now or Browser Download option? I ask because it sounds like there could be other items missing which the Medium Material Library requires and this would suggest either a corrupt install or partial download/failure during install.

 

I would strongly suggest that you download 3DS Max 2015 via the Autodesk Virtual Agent (see link in my signature) or download via the Browser Download via the Education Centre.

I am downloading 3ds max from the free student verison of 3ds max 2015, and I actually found out how to install  "MaterialLibrary2015.msi" and "MediumImageLibrary2015". My laptop restarted and after that I tried installing 3Ds Max 2015 one more time and it was able to downloaded about 1.2 GB but after that the installation failed. I attached an updated logline for you in hopes of finding out where I went wrong.
