2016 inventor registration error

Sorry to hear about the issue. Have you tried performing a clean uninstall, then installing from the virtual agent with your antivirus disabled? Something may have happened during your initial download and install process.

IT sounds like you have numerous Inventor.exe running. Check your task manager and terminate all the Inventor.exe that are currently running.
