2012 Stand alone subscription- Utility License Transfer

I recently have been getting some errors, and unable to load my software.

I tried to test the Utility License Transfer, so I could try repairing or re-installing.

I succeeded in exporting, but could not retrieve it, as the Transfer License Utility disappeared right after.

Now I can't find a means to get it back, even if I could clean up the older subscription.

Any advise one might have to either cleanup the software or reacquire my seat, would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks yous,

Jason

Hi @Anonymous,

Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

I'm not sure that the License Transfer Utility can actually be used to repair a license.

Please try to perform a clean uninstall of the software, then install it again and activate the product with the Serial Number and Product Key for your 2012 software. If you get an activation error (e.g.: over activation, etc.), please contact our Registration & Activation team to get help with a manual activation.

Go to Contact Support - Activation & Registration, then ask AVA (our Virtual Agent) to help you generate an Activation Code. If AVA is unable to activate the software, it will automatically redirect you to the Registration & Activation team, either via Chat or Web. They should be able to help you activate your software manually, if you provide them with your Request Code.

Regards,
