GBS Access for Student user: "you do not currently have access to this service"

GBS Access for Student user: "you do not currently have access to this service"

I have signed into Green Building Studio and to the Autodesk Student Community.

When I run Revit, I am logged into the Autodesk 360 service.

I can run a render in the cloud.

I am trying to complete the online tutorial "Whole Building Energy Analysis with Revit Course" at http://academy.autodesk.com/courses/www/student.php?view_unit=2114

When I run Energy Analysis: I obtain the message that others have been getting: "you do not currently have access to this service. Your license period for the sharing service has ended"...

No further ideas come to mind at present, and I am supposed to be reporting to my colleagues tomorrow what they need to include in our collective BIM model that will enable this energy analysis to occur.

NOTE: the GBS subscription when I log into gbs.autodesk.com seems to be a trial for two runs only. Is this correct?

AUTODESK:

I have the same "you do not currently have access to this" message render when I attempt to run an energy analysis. I am tasked with the BPAC from my instructor at my university.

I know that I have accidentally created two profiles in A360. That may be the problem.

Regards,

Hi Everyone,

Our apologies for all of the problems you have been encountering.

  1. The service is limited for trial accounts. You should delete your existing trial account and start fresh, following these steps. You need to make sure you activate your Green Building License in addition to your Revit license. From the Education Community; Download & register Revit, then activate GBS. This page explains the process in more depth."

  1. If you have two education accounts log into Green Building Studio (the simulation engine used by Revit and Insight 360), for each one and look at the “My Account” tab to make sure they are not a trial account, or expired. You can have only one account associated with an email address. Only use the active, full subscription account. Otherwise follow the same process outlined above.
