CANNOT RUN ENERGY SIMULATION IN REVIT

Hello, I have run into the problem on Revit for the BPAC certification of "You do not currently have access to this service your license period for the sharing service has ended." I am a student and do not understand why I keep coming across this problem. Can I please have access to this as I have been struggling with this for a year now and will not to finish the class ASAP? My username is kozdrm and I have gone through several different ways to solve the problem including reinstalling, checking my activation license, checking my Green Building license, etc.  Can some please manually go into the system and allow me this access.  Thanks, annoyed student

Hi @Anonymous,

Welcome to the community!

Sorry to hear about the trouble. We have been experiencing issues the last couple of days regarding student cloud credits on some accounts. We are working to resolve the problem currently and I have added your account to the list of those having this error. This should be resolved soon. Apologies again for any inconvenience.

Anyone else experiencing this, please contact the education community directly here.

Hi Kozdrm

We are very sorry about all of the frustrations you are encountering. Our records indicate that your Revit account doesn't have a valid student entitlement. Please follow these steps:

  1. Join the Autodesk Education Community and create a student account here
  2. Download and activate Revit with your student account
  3. Make sure to activate Green Building Studio at this link. Green Building Studio is the analysis engine required for Insight 360 and Revit Energy Analysis.
  4. Once you activate Green Building Studio, you will have access to Insight 360 and Revit Energy Analysis.

If you still are having problems after following the above steps, contact us again.

If necessary, you can use this public account to finish your certificate/assignment. Please delete your project after you are done.

Hi Kozdrm,

It looks like you did previously have the proper access. Sorry about sending you unnecessary steps. As Matt mentioned we are aware of the problems with student accounts and our teams have been working on fixing this.

Hopefully this temporary account will work for you.

Greetings,

My students are attempting to run the simulations in BPAC and are getting the, ... You do not have permissions, message.  The Autodesk 360 logins do not work for running the simulations.

Hello,

Last week we released an update to Insight and it should resolve all of the account access issues. Can you try again?

Please let us know if you are still experiencing problems.
