Multiple terrain surfaces

Multiple terrain surfaces

Hi,

Is it possible to implement functionality for creating multiple surfaces in InfraWorks? One example could be that you need both terrain surface AND rock surface below terrain. Multiple surfaces would have to be prioritized and it should be possible to choose which surface to work with when using roads, rails, coverages etc.

Agree. Most civil engineering tasks require more than one surface. Is it possible to add additional options to the data source configuration for terrain objects.

- check box for "Integrate with Terrain"

- when check box unticked, the abilty to apply a material / style to control appearance.

- stacking order or priorty of the terrain object could be similiar to road /rail where stacking order determines priority.

If the stacking order is larger, the new terrain forms over the older terrain.

If the stacking order is lower, the new terrain forms under the older terrain.

I would like to see if for Geology and different coloring purposes.  Such as seeing a proposed dam surface and the existing surface which has a drape of an aerial on it.
