VISSIM into InfraWorks Traffic Analysis

Has anyone tried this, or had any luck with this? I have tried numerous softwares trying to get VISSIM into a 3D environment. No luck with Bentley software. It's supposed to be seamless, but it doesn't work at all. Does anyone know of a workflow for this?

I have tried to find a way to do this in Infraworks as well.

The only 3D modeling software that I know of that can import VISSIM is OpenRoads ConceptStation ... it is similar to Infraworks ... in some ways. Here is a video I found explaining the process: https://youtu.be/EuNtTZLv_ME

@Todd_Rogers this is a pretty old post, but did you figure anything out? What we've always done is import the .FZP file into 3DS Max via Civil View.

No, I did not find a way to do this. Also, I have my models built in infraworks and my company did not provide me with a 3DS Max installation.

I have tried that. It's such a pain to assign a bunch of cars to the objects from VISSIM. Was just wondering if there was an easier way. Thanks.

The only interaction between Vissim and InfraWorks Traffic Analysis is through the Origin-Destination Matrix.

If you copy the O-D matrix from Vissim in Excel by using Ctrl+C and then go to a blank O-D matrix in Traffic/Mobility Simulation in InfraWorks, paste its contents by using Ctrl+V, the matrix is InfaWorks is then automatically completed.

Thanks,
