Viewcube is Visible on Laptop but not on Extended Monitor

The Viewcube works fine on the laptop.  The resolution of the laptop is 3840x2160.  However, on the extended monitor (resolution 2560x1440) it is only visible in 2Dwireframe.  If I switch to wireframe or any of the shaded options, the viewcube disappears.  Is there a solution for this?

I am using Autocad 2018.

P.S.  (Can't find option to edit post for a second time.)  I just tried Duplicating the Display rather than extending it and in that configuration, the Viewcube was visible on the Monitor.  However, this defeats the purpose of the monitor which is to have Autocad on the Monitor and the Lynda.com tutorials on the Laptop simultaneously.
