Utilizing Shapefile Attributes under style Rules

Hello,

I was wondering if it is possible to use gis-shapefile attributes when creating styles rules. I am working on a road project and would like to create a style rule that picks up the Traffic sign name/code to apply a particular style. I have a shapefile with an attribute of the name of each signage position and I was hoping I could take advantage of this attribute information.

This would save me a great deal of time if it is possible.

Thanks

Yes, this can be done by rule style.

Map the attribute first in the data config, then write an expression to assign a model to it in the style rule.

You can select the rotation, scale, and offset, all by mapping the attributes from the shape file.
