Hi,

I'm importing Roadway Striping as Shape files to infraworks.

the shape file is configured as coverage areas.

my problem is that all the roadway striping is below the corridor i also imported form Civil 3D.

is there a way to change the display order beween Roadway Corridor and Coverage areas?

thank you in advance

Hi @khaledCULN8 ,

a Civil 3D corridor can't be used for draping, because it's not considered as existing ground.
I suggest draping the striping to the corridor surface in Civil 3D. Then export the shape file with elevation information.
In InfraWorks, don't drape the shape file to the terrain, but used the elevation information in the shape file (attributes).

Regards,

Karsten.

I had tried a similar routine as you discribe but to drape a striping to the corridor seem take alot of time and computer calculating. Could you be more specific  about how you draping your striping?
