Show station in cross section view: Can't turn on Surface Layers

When I use the Show station in cross section view function, it won't let me click the button next to Surface Layers.

All surface components are turned on. The terrain is present in the model. I have tested in three different models, all with the same problem.

Any ideas?

I can confirm that the surface layer doesn't seem to work in the cross section view on my side as well. Let me investigate, I will come back to you with news.

I see the Surface layers in my test! can you confirm that your Surface Layers are in different surface categories?!

Thanks @samir_rezk In the lower right corner of your image, I found the answer. Surfaces won't display in Assembly View.
