Request Failed

Anonymous
Not applicable

I tried creating a new model this afternoon and selected an area around 7 sq km. I received a message that the request failed and there was a problem 210. I selected a smaller area and got the same fail. I tried a larger are and got the same fail. I rebooted my workstation and tried again. Still getting the same fail. I tried a completely different area of the city, of the state even a different state. I am unable to create any new models as far as I can tell.

What is a 210 and how do I fix it?

Hi @Anonymous

I cannot say what error 210 is, but have you checked the InfraWorks log files in C:\Users\<<USER>>\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\Autodesk InfraWorks\logs ?

Maybe there is more detail about what going wrong.

Regards,

Karsten.

Karsten,

I took a look at the log file and it is just as criptic to me as "problem 210". I just updated to build 2124 yesterday and that is when the issue started. Is there any way to roll back to the previous build? Or would a re-install of 2124 be worthwhile?  I guess I could do that, couldn't hurt.

Hi @Anonymous

you can always un-install the current version and install an older version again. But if you have upgraded a model to a new version you won't be able to use it with an older version anymore.

Can you share the log file, so that I can take a quick look?

Regards,

Karsten.

Hi @Anonymous

From the build number you posted, it appears you are using a Rolling Sandbox build, is that correct? If you could, please post in the Rolling Sandbox forums or create a problem report as I have some questions that I need to ask that should be handled on the beta portal. I look forward to hearing from you!

Seth,

I'm not finding a Rolling Sandbox forum. Is that the Infraworks forum or is there a separate forum for Rolling Sandbox?

Hi @Anonymous

If you log in to the Beta site to download the build, you can find the User Forums under the Resources section on the LEFT hand side of the site window. This is where you can ask questions and provide feedback for the Rolling Sandbox builds. Also Problem Reports can be logged right below that Resources section under Feedback.

https://beta.autodesk.com/

I look forward to hearing from you.

EDIT: Resources in on the left side of the site window.

Hi,

@SethHall

I get the same error and can't get Infraworks 2019 model builder to work.

The log file is attached ... and just to make sure, the folders "D:\IWDRprod\Git_Source\.... which are listed as part of the log file don't exist on my system (and I have no intention to create these folders).

Also important: I'm not working with the sandbox version, I'm on Infraworks 2019 and have installed HF1

I deleted these 2 folders, nothing changed.

Here is the screenshot from the model-builder window as requested in the other thread.
