Mscoree.dll error when opening

Recently downloaded the latest version of Infraworks because the old version wasn't working right anymore and after download I went to open the application and got an error that said Mscoree.dll not found please try reinstalling application.  Tried that multiple times and same error every time.  Anyone know how to fix?

Hi @Anonymous ,

the Mscoree.dll is a Windows System file. If it's missing it's not an InfraWorks related problem. What Windows version do you use and did you install all Windows Updates?

I used windows 10 and yes I have been in contact with two separate people from Microsoft that have looked over my computer and they said that it he to do with the application and something with the download.
