Land Area Quantities

How do I get earthwork quantities for land areas?   I am looking for a quick way to get quick preliminary estimates of several sites within a model...  Is it possible? 

I know and understand how to get road quantities within Infraworks, but I can't figure out how to get the Land area quantities of a land area that represents a building site.  I can see what the area is but there are no volumes, what am I missing? 

The only workflow I can think of is this; I have to export to civil 3D and make composite surfaces in order to quantify the land areas in Civil 3D

I'm using Infraworks 2019 version 19.1.37.0

In the ribbon where you make Land Area's, there is another button marked "Terrain Statistics" when you can draw a polygon around an area and it'll give you Area and Volume values

I am curious as to the accuracy of this tool... 

I created a land area then ran the stats on what I thought was as close to the perimeter of that Land Area and received Cut/Fill estimate. I then ran the stats on an area without a land area.  I was surprised to see that there was 4,426.8 CY of Fill on the area with no land area defined.

Can you apply a style to the Land Area and the Cut/Fill area's of that Land Area so its a bit more visible please?

Hi, This seems like a good start. I discovered the terrain stats tool. What I would like is a simple way to just select the land grading object I have created and get the specific cut/fill volume for that grading object without having to draw any lines around an area. Is this possible or is Terrain Statistics button the only way to retrieve the data? Otherwise it sounds like the only way to get the data would be to export to C3D and create some traditional volume surfaces.

Did you find a way to calculate the area? Infraworks can show the m^2 for one part of an area, but not for more parts?

Hello, same issue. I am using Infraworks 2020 desktop version not 360. I cant seem to find the terrain statistic option. 

however, I can compute cut/fill qty for roads but not my pad. see picture attached.
