I created simple component road in Infraworks and after exporting to Civil 3D, curb and gutter are inverted in assembly. Anyone have idea what is happening? ThanksCivil 3d.jpgInfraworks.jpg

In civil 3d I had to select the curb go to its properties and tell it to use the correct insertion point. Had to then reattach the sidewalks, daylight etc. then Rebuild. Not terrible but still a pain.

We experienced this error as well. Exactly the same error. Has there been any word on a fix for this in future releases or is this just a know issue?

thanks,

Hi @pozder.mirza ,

which components did you use in InfraWorks exactly and what InfraWorks version do you have?

I am trying to recreated the issue n my system, but all looks fine.

Regards,

Karsten.

Hi @Anonymous ,

just wanted to post the latest research results in the forum for others.
It seems as if there is an issue with Civil 3D 2019.x where curbs in assemblies from InfraWorks are inverted after import.

The issue does not happen in Civil 3D 2020. In the moment I don't have information about if there will be a fix in the next 2019.3 Civil 3D update.

For now, in Civil 3D 2019.x please apply the workaround mentioned above in this thread.

Regards,

Karsten.
