InfraWorks 2018 and Autodesk Desktop App

Hi,

I have installed version 18.0.45 of IWs.  Yet on the Autodesk Desktop App it constantly shows an install for infraworks 2018.  I thought that was an update as it continuously appears as not installed so I installed that from the ADA and even thought it shows it downloads nothing more appears to happen or get installed and the Infraworks 2018 still shows as Install instead of Installed.  It's annoying more than anything as the IWs functions as expected.

Anyone else have this issue?

Thanks.

Hi @frosty1_4me,

The current version of InfraWorks is 2018.1; or 18.1.36.0. It is likely that the desktop app sees that as a needed update, but download you get is still the 2018 version.

You can direct download the 2018.1 version from this link:

http://up.autodesk.com/2018/IW360P/Autodesk_InfraWorks_2018_1_Multilingual_Win_64bit_DLM.sfx.exe

Keep in mind that this will update your projects, and any shared project users will also need to make this update to continue working.

I would bet that making this update would remove the nag from the desktop app.

That did the trick.  Not sure why the Audodesk Desktop app wasn't recognizing that.
