Importing 3D Models

I have a question about importing 3D models. I’ve attached two images of what is going on. When I import a model, it looks good during the Interactive Placing but some faces are transparent after I place it. I know 3D faces can face the upside down and I have flipped them in 3DS Max but with no luck. The model was originally created in SketchUp. I’ve tried exporting to different file formats. FBX, DWG, DAE, OBJ and so on. I have never had this issue so any ideas? I'm using version 2019.2.12.0.

Use collada (.dae). However, when you export it from sketchup, it creates a folder with your materials, then puts the collada file separately. Move the collada file into the folder with the materials.

Hi @VincentSheehan ,

in addition to what @Todd_Rogers says, double check if "Show Backfaces" is checked in your 3D Graphics Application Options.
