I'm trying to use images in a video without the hassle of going to a third party video editing package.
Using the html option in caption and title both work, but with some weird behaviours.
I have inserted the image using html tags as normal.
What I've learnt is, the storyboard creator is not WYSIWYG. If you put the dimensions of the image in at the size you would like it to be in the video that you're producing then that works. So, if you set the image to 1920 x 1080, you need to make the video that you're exporting at least that size.
In the storyboard creator lots of fun and unexpected things happen, although they don't translate into the final video.
1- regardless of the orientation of the source image, if it isn't 1:1 ratio, it will give it a portrait orientation even if you change the html tags.
2- width and height work unpredictably and often crop, rotate or stretch the image.
3- CSS etc doesn't work, disappointingly, but unsurprisingly.
4- none of this affects the end result, but it is clearly not working as intended.
