Tired of scrolling for days to find find your project?
To help in your search, consider adding a defining character to your project names, such as _ , *, <, etc.
For example, I added _WC_ to the beginning of a project name. I typed that into the search field, and now I only see the project I want:
How can I rename my project you ask? Check out this excellent Infratip tutorial from Pedro Soethe on renaming InfraWorks projects!
Yes, the most recent release of InfraWorks 360 2016 should allow you to also filter by Group. Is there a group filter next to Date on your version of InfraWorks 360?
No, actually that button, Group, only sorts the models by group. If i only want to see models from one group, it does not appear that i can do that. If for some reason, each group named their models uniquely to their group with a prefix or suffix, then i could search based on that. But that does not happen.
Oh i see,
I would recommend opening the Manage dialog from InfraWorks 360 Home, then choosing the group. You can see all the models in that group, and jot down the name of any models you want, then search for them by name on InfraWorks 360 Home.
Thanks,
Elliott
