cut and fill area in infraworks

what is cause this big difference between cut and fill volume in infraworks (about 6028 ****)

but in the report of profile optimization is show big number different than program how that can be happen ???

note that the road is component...

I don't have an explanation in the moment.
Could it be a conversion issue between feet and meter?

I need to see more details how the corridor looks like and what you optimization path is. Maybe it's because the corridor optimization does not calculate the same path as your corridor currently has?

hello 

first thank you for the help 

second the length of the road 1378 m and the cut and fill area was calculated in (m^3) so with length 1.378 km and dimension of the road 9.7 m and about 1.5 m(cut and fill average) it's more logic that profile optimization is correct but still the number in optimization profile is bigger than expected because i think he take also the elevation of the layer of the road but is not mentioned in the report

Hello, I have a similar issue with Infraworks' cut volume for road component being ridiculously higher than the fill volume as well. Visually, the cut volume balanced the fill and from experience and previous models I've completed, the cut volume should not be ridiculously high. Infraworks showed a cut of 4500+m3 when it should have been roughly 500m3 at most.

Does anyone know why this is so? Would appreciate it someone can help with identifying the reason why this happens.

Infraworks is worst program from Autodesk use civil 3d is a great program and is so  much better to make any design 

infraworks can used only for 3d modeling
