Add custom InfraWorks materials

I finally found the InfraWorks material library at C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\InfraWorks\Resources\LocalLibrary\Styles\Material, but when I add a new .png to a folder, it doesn't appear in InfraWorks. I have also been unable to find a way to point to a file outside of these folders. How can I add a custom material?

You add the png file as a material texture and scale it if necessary.

Here is a video using the older interface to make a fence.

Hi @Chris_Baze ,

please note, that if you add a material to a model it's not available in the next new model you create.

The reason is that the material library in the installation path is copied to the model database. From then on you only work with the model materials.

Regards,

Karsten.
