Does anyone know if it's possible to create sequential tifs or pngs instead of a fully processed video file type?

There isn't native capability to do this, but it can be done easily using third party software. This one is free, and allows extraction of still images from the video. http://paul.glagla.free.fr/imagegrab_en.htm
Once installed, you can select the time interval you'd like the images to be extracted. These should be saved sequentially.
@P1per, make sure you first export out Uncompressed Video to get the highest quality afterwards.
Here a nice example for you to check out I did some time ago using first uncompressed video:
Hi @John_DeLeeuw,
I'm trying to create a video in Infraworks 360 2017 using Storyboard but I can’t get conceptual quality, only engineering view. How do you got it?
Did you make your animation using 3dsMax animated objects?
Thanks,
What ever the style of view you're looking at in the model is the level of quality you will get in the video.
So change your model view to the highest level, your video will then be at high quality.
I guess the problem was the desktop memory, because when I changed to another desktop (more powerful) the video quality increased even with the same exporting settings.
FYI.....My PC Spec........
System | |
Manufacturer | Dell |
Model | Precision T3610 |
Processor | Intel﴾R﴿ Xeon﴾R﴿ CPU E5‐1620 v2 @ 3.70GHz 3.70 GHz |
Memory | 128 GB |
System type | 64‐bit Operating System |
Graphic Card | NVidia GeForce - GTX 960 |
Hard Drive | 500GB |
SSD Drive | 1TB - Samsung |
Screen | Dell UltraSharp U3415W |
Mouse | Logitech MX Master Wireless Gaming Mouse |
Keyboard | Logitech K350 Wireless Keyboard |
Thanks @P1per,
Maybe that was the problem.
The previous desktop has:
Processor | Intel i7‐ 4770@ 3.4GHz |
Memory | 8 GB |
System type | 64‐bit Operating System |
Graphic Card | NVidia GeForce - GT 630 |
Hard Drive | 500GB |
And the actual desktop has:
Processor | Intel i7‐ 4770@ 3.4GHz |
Memory | 8 GB |
System type | 64‐bit Operating System |
Graphic Card | NVidia GeForce - GTX 760 |
Hard Drive | 500GB |
SSD Drive | 240 GB |
Not required, but I'd assume that throwing an extra 8gb of RAM in your system would help as well.
Thanks,
E
Nice Video, What did you use to create the 4d simulation? in Infraworks? or did you export the video and stitch another video into the other video?
