one land area different slopes

lets say there is a rectangular land area above existing ground, sides A B C and D. Sides A and C (opposite sides) need a fill slope of 3:1, sides B and D need a slope of 1.5:1. Can this be done? How?

Thx,

Kevin.

Hi @kbarnettza,

Unfortunately, multiple fill or cut slopes on a single land area is not currently supported.

Thanks,

Elliott

2018 includes a new Preview item named "Land areas and grading behaviors" ... I have not found any guides on this. Does this provide the functionality I am looking for (from this initial post)?

No, it's very simplistic and lacks engineering functionality. It's not working correctly here either.

The four vertices of this pad are all set to one elevation, 2700 ft, and there is a contour incorrectly going through it on top.

Hi Kevin,

As others have said, its not in there yet (like with Civil 3D), however I have got around this by adding a Land area slither to the edge where I want the different grading. Set the vertices to the same level and set a different grading. It works great.

In the image I've put different materials on so you can see where the different grading interact. with the same materials, things look even better of course.
