Failed to import data msg

I am trying to import a LandXML file to infraworks 360 but it keeps giving me the error msg 'failed to import data'. I've also tried to bring it in as a raster but it gives me the same error. Does anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it?

What type of data do you want to configure the LandXML as? Are you trying to bring it in as a terrain? You could try exporting to IMX from Civil 3D and then importing that file into InfraWorks.

Another option (untested) would be to simply drag/drop the LandXML file into InfraWorks. For some reason, when importing DWGs, there's a difference between importing and dragging/dropping a DWG. Not sure if the same applies to other data types.
