Thanks,

You can use the Revit models directly as Data Sources (3D Model). The models may also be built in AutoCAD instead of Revit (see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKUE2INQlyY or https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S4cjf1Wmgl0 which is the first of 3 parts).
I have taken photographs of 3D models and passed over to the AutoCAD ReCap 360 Photo to 3D processor to get OBJ type 3D models that can be used as 3D Model Data Sources in Infraworks.
If you are accepted into AutoDesk Labs, a model builder, Project Kameleon, can build 3D objects for transfer to Infraworks (this is a beta product and unsupported at this time, I believe).
Thank you so much for the answer.
My question was, how can I create or import new sections and use them as Girders for bridges?
Actually I want to use InfraWorks as bridge modelling, for this purpose I need new sections, that not exists in InfraWorks.
I need some new components as Girders, decks,... for bridges.
Thank you so much for the answer.

I do not have Infraworks at my fingertips right now but you could look into using the Style Palette as a starter: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/infraworks-360/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/ENU/Inf...
and also:
and:
In addition to using the style pallet if you already had it designed in REVIT you can just import it as a 3d model. You're really going to work around the problem and use the workflow that best matches your needs. If it's simple (you say new, but don't define it) then Style Pallet would be the way to go. If it's an entirely new design but geometric/simple then importing individual revit pieces can be used for infraworks, if it's more complicated than that Infraworks very quickly becomes a collection tool rather than a working piece in a workflow. Just design the whole thing in revit and import it as a single proportioned piece.
Also I find your use of the forum comical! 4 posts, slowly increasing in content, then two replies same thing 🙂 I laughed.
Have a check here:
this is how you can create content for IW360
There are toooooo many of your posts my friend 😃 😃

Thank you so much for your answer. That's really useful.
I can modify it, but still I can't create some new Girders.
Thanks
Ali
Project Kameleon is really great. That's exactly, what I want.
But the project Kameleon doesn't exist anymore.
I need exactly something like Project Kameleon.
Thanks,
Ali
It exists my friend @Gha3mi.com,
I'm into its site right now.

Project Kameleon was extended to Feb. 15, 2017.

AutoDesk may release it to the public but that is not guarenteed.
I don't know why, but that's unavailable for me.
I think that you used it before, so you can still use it. but for new users is unavailable.
Thanks
Ali
Hello, I wanted to update you that Project Kameleon was once again extended, and should be available to you to download and use. You can find the link to download here: https://beta.autodesk.com/callout/?callid=081ACFC354594A6C8808DF7B7C0C382C
Surely Project Kameleon helps us create new content for IW360, but if one has way to much models that we use in Revit to create our bridges there, wouldn't it be smooth to just import these families into IW and use them as pillars and such? And why is there no such function? Do AutoDesk persist that we have to create new models?
Great!
Thank you in advance.
Ali
Inventor 2018 should work just fine. I think the issue here is most likely the install order.
- You must install InfraWorks after you have installed Autodesk Inventor in order to get the plugin added to your Inventor instance. I would suggest uninstalling and reinstalling InfraWorks.
Thanks,
Elliott
You're right. I did the same. But doesn't work.
That's why I asked.
Thanks,
Ali
