Are you a Revit user interested in testing Informed Design for Revit?
Today, it’s become a whole lot easier, with the introduction of sample content available right in the Informed Design for Revit add-in.
Informed design helps Architectural designers make better use of building product and component manufacturers' content.
Manufacturers can publish configurable designs using the Informed Design add-in for Inventor.
Architectural designers can configure these designs directly inside Revit, and generate a Revit family knowing that the result represents a manufacturable variant.
Should a manufacturer need to update their design, they can publish a new version to Informed Design, and it will immediately be available in the Revit application.
When the design process is complete, the Revit project can be assessed for Informed Design components, and manufacturing outputs such as shop drawings and Bill of Materials (BOM) generated for each variant automatically.

From today, Informed Design for Revit users will find a new toggle in the Informed Design for Revit Product command.
By Toggling ‘Autodesk Sample Content’ to the On position, you can access the Informed Design Sample content directly inside Revit.
