I've spoken with many architects who use AutoCAD to create a 2D site geometry underlay for nearly every Revit project. You can add some color to that site plan with Impression and dramatically reduce the time it takes to make site revisions. First, color your site underlay file in AutoCAD with simple solid hatches of arbitrary colors. AutoCAD screen capture:
Next, use Impression to stylize the CAD file. Save the result as a JPEG and put it in the same folder as your CAD link. Result:

Finally, import the JPEG as a background image behind your Revit presentation plan view. This is the Revit view:

The same CAD file does double duty. It is still linked into the Revit project as a black-and-white technical underlay for the construction drawing set, with the solid hatch layers turned off. Here's the construction drawing site plan in Revit:

When the site geometry changes, you update the CAD file, use the Impression "Update CAD geometry" feature to update the JPEG, and re-import the JPEG. Now you've updated your working drawing set and your presentation set in short order. Try doing all this with Photoshop and you're in for some pain when someone moves a sidewalk.
