Sculpt/T-spline Booleans (like Procedural Sub-D booleans in Modo)

Sculpt/T-spline Booleans (like Procedural Sub-D booleans in Modo)

Adding something like the MeshFusion support into the Fusion 360 Sculpt tool would allow one to get the best of two worlds, working like with solids but in a T-spline environment!!

It can be done with SubD models, so it should hopefully be possible to do with T-splines, as both of them can be created from Nurbs.

Check the video for a better idea of how this could work!

Here are some tutorials that better explain how it works.

http://lesterbanks.com/2014/01/modo-mesh-fusion-making-booleans-cool/

These are some old tutorials and maybe it is worth looking at the improvements made since Modo 901 where Meshfushion is built in rather than a plugin.

I really believe this kind of modeling inside Fusion 360 sculpt space would be extremely powerful and increase the speed that one can create designs with it.
