I agree, a chamfer tool in the sketch environment is a really good idea.
At the moment to create a chamfer in sketch requires the following:
Offset 2 new lines from existing geometry.
If necessary, extend the new lines to the existing geometry.
Create a new line between the end points of the new lines.
Delete the 2 offset lines.
Trim the existing geometry back to the new line.
I understand that there is a chamfer tool in modify, I would still like the option of creating a chamfer at the same time that I create the sketch geometry.
Why can there not be a chamfer tool in both sketch and modify?
