The measure tool is great but there is no persistence to the resulting dimensions. I realize that this is intended, and there are arguments in favour, nevertheless I still want the option to have measure tool dimensions persist indefinitely, dynamically (update as geometry updates), and to allow resulting dimensions to be individually and globally made visible/invisible.
