Include an AutoCad sketching environment.

Include an AutoCad sketching environment.

Include a toggle that can utilize the AutoCad workflow.

Drawing in most any "sketch" environment can be frustrating to say the least.

Sometimes I just want to draw, to try things out. **** the constraining and so forth. Those operations aren't always necessary, most can be accomplished easily after the layout is complete... Why, there you go, you can call it "Layout".

The only feature that I've liked ...since Inventor, is the trim/extend feature. that functionality can be extended back to AutoCad.

Copying, moving, patterning...etc. is way to cumbersome and obtuse in the 3D environments.

I grew up with AutoCad, (and maybe that's the problem), but there are many advantages to drawing in that manner.

Exiting to AutoCad, producing my geometry, exporting it to a .dxf file, then importing it into a 3D program, sometimes successfully, sometimes sot so, ...really?

Thanks y'all.

...As an aside, perhaps someone could include words like Audodesk, and so forth, in your dictionary so they don't appear misspelled. 🙂
