Full width dimension for symmetric sketch features.

Full width dimension for symmetric sketch features.

Placing a centerline and creating a profile symetric to that centerline should have a way to dimension the entire width by selecting the centerline first then one of the symetric features which gives a full width dimension from the mirrored feature and the source feature of the mirror.

Thank you for your suggestion. We are currently working on this and will have this feature added within the next couple of releases!

We are happy to report that this was made available in Jan 2014 update.

To try this in a sketch, select the centerline first, then the item to be dimensioned. Right mouse click and choose symmetric dimension.

This is handy but I still miss it for angular dimensions, ex. if I draw a sketch to revolve a cone.
