find in browser

find in browser

with big designs it is often a nightmare having to scroll so much in the browser

better would be a RMB menu on a 3D objects in 3d view and call the command "find in browser"

fusion then highlights the part and scrolls to the correct position in the browser

Fusion already has this feature. Although, I've noticed on big designs or designs with a nested component structure, you have to select "find in browser" a few times to get the browser to scroll to the correct part.

I voted for this to get the implementation improved, so the browser expands and scrolls to the correct part the first time.

Where does it have it? it highlights the body in the browser but does not select it nor does it scroll to the part.

the provided workflow here is inconsistent

If we can get an improvement like this, also add the ability to navigate it with arrow keys like this:

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/ideastation-request-a-feature-or/browser-navigation/idi-p/6715539

Just that the browser gets so full so easily is a bug

For complex designs it's unavoidable, but for anything even slightly non-trivial, there will be multiple pages of crap to scroll through

Hi

We are going to take a look at improving the expanding nodes and folders and better highlighting feedback, so the digging is eliminated as much as possible.

Hope this helps.

Jamie.
