Did you mean:

export STL relative to point P

export STL relative to point P

I take fusion models and import them as STL files into my simulation (read: game) software.

The simplest way for me to animate them is when the part origin is on an axis of rotation.  Sometimes developers design parts where this is not the case.

I wish I could add a point at the correct location and say "now export the model with point P as the origin".  Just as good would be to move the origin itself without rebuilding everything.

Please and thank you!

You may want to check out Meshmixer. It reads .stl and you may be able to re-define the origin fo rthe .stl with that app.
