Doubleclick tree item (to rename) > backspace key deletes the item, not the text

Doubleclick tree item (to rename) > backspace key deletes the item, not the text

When I'm trying to rename items in the Tree, if I doubleclick a sketch for example, it enters into the rename box. If I then press the backspace key to remove the default text, it deletes the sketch/body/component, etc. If I'm in the rename function it should be fairly obvious that I dont want to delete the actual item, but rather just the text. Its mildly infuriating to be trying to quickly label things and have to Ctrl+Z it back into existence all the time! Can this be changed to be more intuitive?

I agree. I can be annoying trying to rename items in the tree. Autodesk please fix this.

This is a bug and it's fixed in development builds. An update should be released soon for you.

I agree. If a fixed bug, it's nice.

In the same way, the keys <-, -> don't work.

They are pretty useful, yet.

F2 to rename would be beautiful.

And some maj <- and maj -> when editing would be the paradise, then.
