Instance parameter wrapping at wall terminations

A common issue I have when detailing is needing to hide a wall in a detail view. It seems this could be very easily remedied by providing an system instance parameter in the wall families which would allow one to make the wall terminate without having to unjoin walls, etc... In the eclosed snipped image, both walls are unjoined, but because wall wrapping is turned on as a type parameter, there is not a way to easily terminate the wall and prep it for detailing.

Any additional thoughts on how to remedy this are much appreciated.

I agree, having wall wrapping as an instance parameter would be great. The only thing you can do at this time is to duplicate the wall type and create one type as with wall wrapping and one without wall wrapping.

Thanks Ric!

Also it would be important for the wall wrapping to be controlled by one end or the other. I believe as a type parameter it currently affects both ends. I believe it also affects the top of the wall and the bottom too. So, ideally there would be a few instance parameter check boxes if this were to be done properly.
