It would be very valuable to have the ability to open Revit with all addins disabled, for speed and troubleshooting purposes: a "safe-mode" of sorts. Sometimes we don't know whether an error or unexplained behavior is due to one of the plethora of installed addins. Currently we have to hack our way to do this fast via a script (ex: rename all addin/applicationplugin install folders, then rename them back after finishing our diagnosis), but without local admin rights this is not a sustainable solution. Having the ability to start Revit in "Safe Mode" by disabling all addins would be beneficial. There might also need to be a mechanism by which to assign "immunity" to some addins so they load nonetheless...I'm thinking about some custom addins that an organization might need to keep running in the background for analytical purposes and data collection.
