I just started working with revit after having used AutoCAD sinds 1986.
I had revit suite for over 10 years on subscription but did not use it, this was because I am a 3DS MAX expert user and purchased the Building Premium Suite at the first date it came out.
I am doing my first revit project and after 2 weeks I start to get a bit o feeling for Revit but my biggest critic which makes me hesitate is the very limited and dated printing features in Revit.
Sure Autodesk can do much much beter then this.
Revit has so much advanced features but you can not create a vector format with shadows or colours as filled regions.
Revit may be as advanced as it can, the end result for your clients is the most important part - generating good plans an d drawings are essential. Revit means a step back for me in this area and that is not acceptable.
Hope Autodesk reads this.
I once was a beta tester for 3D Studio VIZ ! a long time ago.
