Formula Suggesting

I am somewhat of a novice when it comes to programming parameter formulas and when doing so, I usually struggle with proper syntax and as you know if there's ANYTHING wrong in the formula structure it isn't going to work...and I was thinking it would be great if Revit would "suggest" possible proper structuring of a formula if the user doesn't have it quite right. It would work similar to how Google asks you if this is what you really want...when you spell a word wrong in your search bar.

I think this would save a lot of frustration for users who aren't experts at writing code, and still allow them to further customize their parameters.

Thanks.

What you're asking for is intellisense the programming world.

If you type in (just for example):  =if( a tooltip would show up telling you that the function expects you to type a test value, a comma, what to use in case of TRUE, a comma, what to use in case of FALSE and followed by a closing parenthesis.

Yes that sounds about right.

It doesn't have to be so "sophisticated", just an automatic formula completion or parameter suggestion (like word suggestion in Excel) will be very useful to have...
