Why Does Sloped Glazing have a default Thickness???!!!
WHY???!!! Does Sloped Glazing have a Default Thickness of 4" that cannot be changed???!!! Is this some magical standard that Autodesk has deemed appropriate to impose across the entire worldwide construction industry?
When I make roof with standing seam roofing, I use Sloped Glazing for the standing seam portion. For these roof assemblies, I use at least 5 - yes at least 5 - roof types. Because: Revit. To get the Sloped Glazing roof as standing seam to align properly in Roof Plan view, I have to setup several Reference Planes - two parallel to the roof, with one offset by that magical arbitrary 4", and two vertical to use for the roof footprint in plan view. Just make the Thickness a Type Parameter so it can be changed as needed.
