Tag Family - Parameters

When adding a new parameter to a tag family, have it default to 'No' instead of 'Yes' on each type.

Try forcing the parameter to "no" by using the formula =1=0. Apply that by clicking 'OK' and then re-opening your family types dialog and clear the formula out. This would only work for types you create within the family itself, and not new types created from the project.

If you duplicate an existing yes/no parameter that is unchecked in the parameters dialogue the duplicated parameter will also be unchecked.

Thank you. That was so obvious, I'm embarrassed not to have thought of it. I'd always just created new parameter instead of duplicating.

Thanks again!

This should work for new parameters without having to know eosteric Revit Lore beforehand.

This Idea has my support as it frequently bugs me to death when i'm adding a load of electrical parameters to families.
