Filters should have two options in the menu; 'visible' and 'only visible'

When, for example, I have a filter in a 3D view that makes concrete walls invissible. But, in a different view I only want to see concrete walls. I now have to make two filters for this. Filters should have two options in the menu; 'visible' and 'only visible'. This way you can do much more with one filter.

I think the word you're looking for is "Isolate", and yes, this would be helpful. Only filters that are selected as "Isolated" would be visible.

Another way of achieving this might be to have a default "everything else" filter that would group all elements not currently assigned to another filter - that way you could turn off visibility for those elements, but also set colour, halftone, lineweight etc for everything else in one go?

To isolate a set of desired elements currently, one would need to turn off visibility for all categories not desired, then set up a filter or filters to collect everything within remaining categories that aren't wanted and turn off visibility for those too?
