While completely opening up Arrowheads to any custom symbol would be awesome (and is something I've been wanting since we first started using Revit years ago), I have a feeling that it's not very likely to happen, so I'd suggest the following:
- For "grab" leaders, we used a custom "graboval" tick in AutoCAD that was two semi-circles joined by straight lines. It would be nice to have another "Pill" or "oval-ish" Arrow Style to choose from [in addition to "Arrow", "Dot", etc.] with options to set the radius and line length (for example, our "graboval" had semi-circles of 0.045" radius connected by 0.045" line segments). We currently use an un-filled "Dot", but it looks either too "wide" or too "short". Even if it was just like a double of the "Loop" Arrowhead type (no straight line segments - just a curve), that would be fine, too.
- Also, it would be nice to have a Arrowhead Type parameter that would stop the leader line at the edge of the tick, instead of going to the center.
I submitted this to Autodesk previously, but when their feature-request system was still "closed".
