I agree it could come in handy for tag graphics to change based on if something is existing or not. Where It would be most helpful is in tagging rooms (since existing rooms tags are grey, might state that they are existing, and/or might not have a room number). Unfortunately rooms don't have a creation and a demolition phase, and until they do I don't know how often we'd use the feature.
How do you see this working? Is it a global parameter? Done per view? Set up in the tag? Done with a filter? Where do you change the setting?

I was hoping to use a screened tag in my process drawings to differentiate between existing and proposed. Im not sure how to get this to work in Revit. I was hoping the Revit community would have come across this by now.
Thanks for taking the time to submit your idea. Unfortunately, this idea did not get the support of the community over the last 6 months and as such we will not be pursuing it at this time. Please feel free to rework (titles and clear descriptions are really important) and resubmit this one down the road.
