I disagree with the comment about the basics of the program just because the perfect program for everyone doesn't exist. But I understand his frustration, because in Revit we have to go through all the views way too much to get anything done.

Groups can be useful, you create them in one place with detail group and all and then copy them everywhere. However, you must go through all the views to make sure the annotation is correct. Wouldn't it be nice if it could be easier?

For example, suppose you have a residential tower with many of the same apartments on different levels. You have to go to each view of each level to assign the detail group to the apartments.
If you have several display scales, you must now do this for each scale. If you have several output views, you have to do it all over again.

We can use 'select all' -> 'visible in view' and assign a detail group, that's handy. But we can't do this with 'select all' -> 'in entire project'. This probably has to do with the fact that Revit doesn't know on which views or levels you want to place the detail groups.
Maybe that can be solved in a similar way how we can copy/paste elements to selected views/sheets.

I don't know exactly, but maybe Marwan would be helped if he could run 'select all' -> 'in entiry project' and then select which views (or views on selected sheets) to use to map the detail groups .
