If I had a dollar for all the times I saw someone send 400-500pages to the laser copiers near to my desk, then race across to smash the button over and over to cancel the job.  Unfortunately, at my firm we have a lot of contract workers and it's never usually the same person twice, they all learn the first or second time, but in an office of hundreds that adds up to a lot of wasted trees.

This problem, unique to Revit, is that each page is send as a separate print spool job, rather than as a single print job -- I assume that reduces the printer memory requirements, but invariably leads to other problems, such as print jobs not being able to be easily cancelled, printing jobs stopping midway through because the computer was shutdown/standby after the hit print and went home, or jobs being mixed up by the printer as pages from several different large print jobs got sent within several minutes.

Could we ever expect to see a resolution to this ?  I imagine if Autodesk allowed different application teams to share code or expertise, that would quickly happen -- there are thousands of improvements that could be made to Revit, merely by incorporating code from other software like AutoCAD (honed and refined over 30+ years).
