As a BIM Manager, I'd like to have a tool that shows me exactly how many licenses are in use, how many licenses are borrowed, what type of license they are (premium , ultimate, etc) and who has those licenses.
I agree, but there are options out there (some free and some paid) that give you that information. My reseller suggested JTB FlexReport LT, and it works for my purposes (mainly figuring out who is using more than one licence if someone can't get one)
Seconded on JTB reporting tools. We used those when we had network licenses and it worked beautifully, updating a network HTML file with all the OPs requested information several times an hour.
The LMTools utility can be used to write out a similar text-based report file. It requires a bit more knowledge of what to look for but is still useable for up to several dozen licenses.
Thanks for taking the time to submit your idea. Unfortunately, this idea did not get the support of the community over the last 6 months and as such we will not be pursuing it at this time. Please feel free to rework (titles and clear descriptions are really important) and resubmit this one down the road.
