Revit is a great program, but let's not lose sight of the true purpose of the program, and that is to communicate. The creation of a connected model is not an end in itself. A key part of communicating building instructions is text/language - written instruction. Just take for example the top of this response box. Right there I have the tool to strikethough. I can't understand why such a basic formatting choice would be omitted from Revit. I understand Revit allows me to bold, italicize and underline. For your reference, I have clipped an image of the text formatting bar from Autocad.
